Hey You!
Hasn't 2017 been a great year? Just before we enter into 2018, I have a last minute gift for you. It's my short film titled 'Tanwa.
A few months ago I told you about my experience at the Accelerate filmmaker project and how I came out as one of the winners. After some training and experiences that include film school and pre-production, we finally went on set and shot my first film EVER!
It was such an amazing, humbling and interesting experience for me and I'd do it all over again if I could. I'm excited to share with you my baby 'Tanwa.
I would really appreciate it if you would please take a moment of your time to give me your feedbacks. I'd love to hear (read) them.
That being said, I present to you, 'Tanwa ... the child we wanted ... a movie written, directed & poduced by Adenike O. Adebayo (now Esho). It features KC Ejelonu, Bimbo Ademoye, As'sah Samuel, Toyin Alausa and 'Bade Smart.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteIntriguing! I figured out very quickly that it could be Schizophrenia.
ReplyDeleteYour first attempt was good and sending a message to people about this terrible illness. I look forward to even better movies. Well done.
Keep soaring higher sis, kudos to u
ReplyDeleteI truly enjoyed it from start to finish. In 14 minutes you gave us suspense, our minds trying to figure it all out and then a brilliant conclusion. I can totally relate cos someone I know suffers the same fate. Keep it up, very intriguing and did I mention captivating. Thumbs up.
ReplyDeleteAdenike!!!! Why are you always leaving me speechless with your creativity and intelligence!!! Jeez!!! Well done darling, you have a big time fan here oooooooo...
ReplyDeleteAw really loved this. Well done Adenike!! i definitely enjoyed this
ReplyDeleteGood one to raise awareness in Nigeria to schizophrenia .. could still be done without the little racist comment by the mom. "White people sickness "??
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was meant to be racist. I think she was making the point that since black people often see mental illness as prevalent only in the white community, it frequently goes undiagnosed and therefore untreated in the black community.
Deletenice work well done, more grace
ReplyDeleteWell done Adenike. Fantastic does not look like a first attempt at all
ReplyDeleteOne Word --- Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGiven time more hard work like this and more commitment to excellence. .you'd redefine the face of nollywood

ReplyDeleteThe suspense was real!!! Awesome movie and also a great way to educate people. More grease to your elbow dear. Can't wait for the full movie
ReplyDeletewaow, well done dear this is lovely mystery. i want love movies from you, looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful short film!!! Wow it was very captivating and intriguing. One thing I may add if that is okay with you is that maybe you should switch the plot of the story. What could have been the ending became the beginning and what was the beginning would have been the best for the ending. The sequence of the story was a bit staggery but I really enjoyed the film no doubt!!! Love, love, LOVED it!! Please keep it up.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeletei enjoyed it.
