I know it's been forever since I wrote something but you cannot even begin to imagine how my life has been these past few weeks. It's just been filled with all kinds of drama. Drama to the left, right and center... anyway that's talk for another day.
So last weekend, I was having a conversation with one of my male "friends" ;) and he kept insisting that he has no obligation to introduce his girlfriend to his friends as his girlfriend. Get? Ok, imagine this scenario: You are with your boyfriend and one of his female friends walks over to you guys and your boyfriend introduces you by your name, period. Nothing like "meet Funmi, my girlfriend..." is that a problem?

While I will not bore you by giving you the origin of Valentine, we all know it's about lovers all around the world. So, typically, February 14 seems to be the day that most single ladies dread the most. Especially when all your friends are either in a relationship, married or engaged. As a single lady on valentine's day, (especially one who is seeking to be in a relationship), you feel left out of the whole shenanigans. But does this have to be?
Who says valentine is only meant for lovers? Tell me who says that you, as single woman cannot be a part of the celebration? I'm particularly focused on ladies because we are the ones that tend to feel most affected when holidays such as this come around. So what can you as a single woman whose heart is dedicated to God do on Val's day? How can you make valentine a lot more interesting for yourself?

Personally, I've never had a memorable valentine. There, I said it. I've always either spent February 14 at work or in school; it's always been a usual day for me, nothing different. However, entering this year, I promised myself that regardless of what happens, I am going to make this Valentine a memorable one.
I intend to make it memorable by sending val's gifts to three people (male/female) that I've NEVER met before. Keep reading to find out how YOU can be one of those three people.
