He's Gonna Come Through For You

Exactly one year ago, August 2011, my dad shipped some cars to Nigeria, for sale. Those cars have been at the port in Lagos since then, and up until now they are yet to be released. The clearing agents got caught up in some shady deals and my Dad's cars got caught in the middle. One year later, we are still fighting the battle of trying to get the cars released. My Dad spent his savings and retirement money on those cars and they are no where to be seen. My family has spent more money trying to get those cars released than we can profit. What is my consolation? I know that God, the Almighty Father, will come through. He will.

I'm sure each and every one of us, at one time or another in our lives, we've been in dire need of something and we begged God for that "thing" but it never came. Even more practical is when you are looking for a job, you are getting old and yet to be married, everything that can go wrong is going wrong, loss of family members and friends, debts and little or no hope for the day. Nothing seems to be working for you.

You are drowning in debts and you live in a state of constant shame. It's seems like God is so far away. You are praying but you are not getting any answers. Sometimes, it's even hard to pray. It seems like God has turned his back on you and it's just you alone in this world, constantly fighting a defeated battle. The road you are walking on is long, dry and crooked and all you can scream is GOD WHERE ARE YOU?

God is there. He's there. Right there by your side. Holding your hands, wiping your tears, his heart breaking because your heart is breaking. But he is there and he hears you and he will come through for you. I know it's hard and you've lost all hope but I'm pleading with you not to give up just yet. Your miracles and answers are right at your door step. God will DEFINITELY come through for you. Hold on, just hold on a little longer. His word is true. His word is yea and amen.

I cannot tell you why things are the way they are right now, I cannot explain to you why it seems as if you are drowning. But what I can tell you is that God sees you and he knows and understands every bit of what you are going through. It's only God that knows why he is delaying your breakthrough but God knows best. His ears are not deaf to your prayers. His arms are constantly wrapped around you, his hands in yours. He is saying to you, "trust me, even in your darkest times, trust me."

God loves you and he wants nothing short of the best for you. He will come through, and when he does, it will be so big that your mind will not be able to comprehend it. It does not matter how bad the situation is, it does not matter how long it takes, what matters is that God is faithful and true to his words and what he says he will do, he will do. "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" Numbers 23:19. Another version says that "has he said it and will he not do it?"

I'm telling you help is on the way and it will come. Wait for it. Remember, God does not work according to our timetable. There's nothing as good has being in God's perfect will. He will do it. He will do it. All these is why I know that my Dad's cars will be released. No matter how long it takes. "God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all that we can EVER ask or think." Eph. 3:20 God knows what you are going through, and he will do it. He will settle your case.

You know God likes to show off, so when he intervens in your situation I'm telling you it's gonna be BIG! Something so big that the world will marvel and you will forget how long it took. So, are you seeking God's face for a child, are you seeking for a life partner, a job, a promotion, a scholarship; no matter what it is, God is able, and he will come through for you. And when you get your miracle, remember to come share your testimony with the world, through me.

Finally, I declare into the life of everyone reading this post, that every form of emptiness in your life is destroyed in the name of Jesus! I declare, by the power of the most high God, standing on the rock of ages that every "barren" tree in your life, is made fruitful and your mourning is turned into dancing. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

Love!

  1. And I tap into that prayer...Amen!!!
It is the same thing we are going through, it is just one year after my dad's retirement, and it's like he retired many years ago. Why? My dad decided to invest his retirement benefit on a large piece of land, he started building on it....one day, a man came and drove my dad's workers away, saying the land was in court....hmmmm...I did cry 'cause it took a toll on my dad and he fell ill. Since then, we have been attending court cases, and the man who duped us has kept on lying and lying. The only person who could have stopped us from buying the land was the surveyor, if he were honest...but unfortunately for us, he was dishonest and was surveying the land for the third time to my dad, who was the third person who bought the same piece of land two other people were fighting for. Most times, I think of telling my dad to just let go, then I imagine all the money that has been spent on the land, the building and the court cases... At first I was heartbroken, I felt my dreams had been shattered, but with God, I haven't lost hope....we still go on our knees everyday in that respect. I still believe in His word. Maybe He has a reason for letting that happen to us....thank you very much, this has made my day.

  3. I drop by your blog from time to time and really needed to affirm what you posted. It lifted my spirits. I tried doing something by my 'power' and caved in when I knew it wasn't proper. Only to come and read this. It indeed is well. May God restore all the years the canker worm, palm worm caterpillers have eaten in Jesus name. Amen.

Your father's cars shall be released, there is nothing impossible for God. Stay blessed and keep writing.

  5. it is well with your family and i join you in beliving God that something will be done soonest about those cars. you know must times God lets us pass through some things so that he can bring the best out of us. God let Joseph to go to prison because he was going to entrust the tresury of a whole Nation into his hands. From prisoner to prime Minister. so in everything that happens to us, lets see the good in it, and trust God that we will come out stronger.
